Best ROI

If I make an investment of Rs. 10000 in a mutual fund and make a profit of Rs. 1000 at the end of one year, my ROI (Return On Investment) is 10% annually.

ROI = (Gain From Investment - Cost Of Investment) / (Cost Of Investment)

It is quite hard to see by just looking at the equation, but it has got two entities out there - Investment and Time. It is the later I would like to concentrate on. Money can come and go. And you can have good years and bad years with your money flow. But one thing that can never come back is time.


So in effect, the best investment decision one can potentially make and expect maximum returns on, is by making an investment in themselves. Quoting legendary Warren Buffett here -

Invest in as much of yourself as you can, you are your own biggest asset by far.

I see a lot of truth in the quote. You will never get a better return on life than when you truly invest in yourself. Learn as much as you can. Don't take a job only to put the years on your resume. Do what you love.

I think I am going to put a considerable effort for a deep dive on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. I think it will be a good investment. Let's go all in ...
